WordPress Site Audit

Know exactly what you have before you decide anything

We dig into your WordPress site and give you a clear picture — what you’re working with, what a migration looks like, and whether it’s the right move.

WordPress: 17 years experience Statamic: 12 years experience 100s of sites built

What we examine

Every layer of your WordPress site, documented

WordPress sites accumulate complexity over time — plugins, custom fields, content types, integrations. We map all of it so there are no surprises later.

Content Architecture

Post types, taxonomies, page hierarchies, and how your content is actually structured beneath the surface.

Plugin Landscape

Every active plugin, what it does, whether there’s a Statamic equivalent, and what needs custom handling.

Custom Fields & Data

ACF, custom meta, repeater fields, flexible content — we map every data structure and plan how it translates to Statamic.

URL Structure & SEO

Permalink patterns, existing redirects, meta tags, sitemaps, and everything that affects your search rankings.

Media Library

File counts, sizes, organization, and any media processing or optimization workflows in place.

Third-Party Integrations

CRM connections, email platforms, analytics, payment processors — anything your site talks to.

Performance Baseline

Current load times, Core Web Vitals, and where the bottlenecks are — so we can measure improvement after migration.

What you get

A clear picture, not a sales pitch

The audit deliverable is a detailed document you can act on — whether that’s moving forward with us, taking it to another team, or deciding to stay on WordPress.

Detailed Site Report

A comprehensive breakdown of your WordPress site — every content type, plugin, integration, and data structure documented.

Migration Scope

Exactly what needs to move, what can be simplified, and what requires custom handling.

Timeline Estimate

A realistic timeline based on your site’s actual complexity — not an optimistic guess.

Risk Assessment

Where the tricky parts are, what could go wrong, and how we’d handle it.

Honest Recommendation

Whether Statamic is the right fit for your project. If it isn’t, we’ll say so.

Clear Next Steps

If migration makes sense, you get a fixed-price proposal. If not, you get direction on what to do instead.

How it works

Three steps to clarity

1

Discovery Call

We talk about your site, your goals, and what’s driving the conversation. You’ll leave knowing whether an audit makes sense — and we’ll know enough to scope it.

2

The Audit

We get admin access and dig in. Content architecture, plugins, custom fields, integrations, SEO setup, performance. We document everything and map it to Statamic equivalents.

3

Report & Recommendation

You get a detailed report with our findings, a migration scope, timeline estimate, and an honest recommendation. If migration makes sense, we include a fixed-price proposal.

Common questions

How long does the audit take?

Most audits are completed within one to two weeks, depending on the size and complexity of your WordPress site. We’ll give you a specific timeline after the discovery call.

Do we need to provide admin access?

Yes. We need WordPress admin access and ideally server/hosting access too. We can work with read-only database access if that’s easier for your team. Everything is handled securely.

What if Statamic isn’t the right fit?

Then we’ll tell you. The audit exists to answer that question honestly. If another platform makes more sense, we’ll explain why and point you in the right direction.

Does the audit cost apply toward migration?

The audit is a standalone service with its own deliverable. If you move forward with migration, the audit work directly informs the project scope — so nothing is wasted.

Can we do the audit without committing to migration?

Absolutely. That’s the whole point. The audit gives you the information you need to make a decision — on your timeline, with no pressure.

Curious what a migration would look like for your site?

The audit starts with a conversation. Book a 30-minute discovery call and we’ll figure out whether it makes sense.
